Sirusht Halabja: Turkish claims aim to stir fear

The Asr Hights Office announced that the brother of the leader Abdullah Ocalan had a telephone conversation, on Thursday 25 March, from the office of the Attorney General in the Kurdish city of Raha, with leader Ocalan, which lasted only a few minutes and was interrupted by the Turkish occupation state.

Commenting on the subject, the Kurdish lawyer, writer, and researcher in Bashur Kurdistan, sirusht Halabja, condemned the Turkish practices, in a statement to our agency, and said, "This is not a new policy for Turkey, as Turkey does not want any type of interviews with the leader Ocalan and to meet with his family and his lawyer."

She added, "Turkey's policy is contrary to human rights, as human rights standards are non-existent in it, while pressures increased in particular after Erdogan's victory in the last elections, as Turkish policy changed and worsened further after the economic and political crisis in the country, so Erdogan tries to intervene in neighboring countries to divert attention from internal crises.

"The pages of the history of the ancient and new Ottomans are full of blood; they came to power by shedding the blood of all those who rose up against their oppressive policies," Sirusht said. "Under the pretext of religion, they killed Armenians, and under the pretext of rebellion they killed the Arab elite, and under the pretext of nationalism they kill the Kurds and imprison their leader."

The Kurdish people cling to their leader

Sirusht explained that Erdogan with his practices is trying to occupy the world, especially the Kurdish people, with other issues, and she said, “One of these topics is the meeting with the leader Ocalan and publishing allegations every now and then about deterioration of his heath, because she is fully aware of the extent to which the people cling to their leader to stir fear in their hearts and forget the issue of politics and parliament, they focus only on checking in on his life.

Sirusht called on the people to be vigilant about Turkish policy.

Regarding the phone call between the leader and his brother, Sirusht Halabja noted that the new Turkish policy does not bode well, as when a political prisoner is not allowed to see a lawyer, this is considered a violation of human rights law, and this is an external conspiracy to participate with Turkey.

She noted," The isolation of the leader is nothing but an extension of the brutal practices that Turkey carried out hundreds of years ago, as it has become apparent that an occupying country like Turkey does not want stability in the Middle East, especially as it is the one caused many of the crises, and the emergence of mercenaries, which revealed its propagating policy to violence and racism, nationalism and the restoration of the glories of the Ottoman Empire.

Sirusht pointed out that the issue of human rights is important, but it was established in colonial countries, and said, "If its interests are with Turkey, then it remains silent, as we saw when Turkey attacked Afrin, Serekaniye and Ain Issa in northern and eastern Syria and the cities of southern Kurdistan, where we did not see any movement from them." .

Leader Ocalan's philosophy inspires women

Sirusht emphasized that the most important thing the leader Ocalan call for is the freedom of women, and emphasized that societies can only can be emancipated by women's emancipation.

She said: On the basis of this ideology, women organized themselves after they were marginalized, so the philosophy of leader Ocalan inspired women and opened wide horizons in front of her through which she was able to highlight her personality and impose her will, so the vanguard and liberated women are attacked and assassinated, as happened with the three female fighters in Paris".
