On Monday, SOHR published report about the crimes in the Afrin region occupied by Turkey, that the occupation mercenaries are mastering the daily violations against the people of the region.

The Syrian Observatory counted, during the past month, that the occupation mercenaries kidnapped more than 21 civilians, including 7 women, in the city of Afrin and the suburbs of Mobata, Sherawa, Janderis, and Rajo in the countryside of Afrin, as the fate of 14 of them is still unknown.

According to the Observatory, the violations against the people of Afrin by the occupation mercenaries are no longer limited to the so-called "National Army" only, but are practiced by so-called "civil councils and bodies."

In this context, civil sources reported to the Syrian Observatory from within the city of Afrin, that the so-called local councils affiliated with the Turkish occupation issued a public decision leading to the suspension of all agencies issued by the departments of the Damascus government for the people displaced from Afrin and those in the areas of the Damascus government, whose relatives have the right in acting their property.

These “councils” stipulated that the people should have the agencies issued by Turkey or European countries in exchange for recognition, and with this unannounced decision, none of the relatives of the forcibly displaced people from Afrin will be able to act the property of their relatives, and all property belonging to the displaced will be in the hands of these councils.

Mercenaries from Sokoor al-Sham, affiliated with the occupation, cut down more than 400 olive trees from one of the agricultural orchards in the village of “Qizilbash” in the Bulbul district in Afrin countryside northwest of Aleppo, which belongs to a citizen of the region.

In addition, the so-called economic office of the mercenaries of "Sultan Murad" seized large areas of olive fields, in the Maidanaki area of the Sharran district in Afrin countryside, with an estimated number of 60 fields, and its owned to the displaced of Afrin.

In Shia district in the countryside of Afrin, the mercenaries of "Suleiman Shah Division - al-Amshat" seized several agricultural lands adjacent to each other, owned by citizens of the region.

In the conclusion of its report, the Syrian Observatory confirmed that from the above, it is clear that the series of violations in the areas occupied by Turkey will not stop its crimes, as long as these mercenary groups continue to violate all international norms and conventions for human rights, without a deterrent to curb the crimes and violations they commit against the Syrian people in the region in those areas.
