ISIS emirs arrested during qualitative operations in al-Hol camp

During qualitative operations, the anti-terrorist units arrested 2 ISIS cell leaders in al-Hol camp in eastern Syria, as the "Humanitarian and Security" campaign launched by the Internal Security Forces in northern and eastern Syria entered its fourth day.

Last Sunday, the Internal Security Forces of northern and eastern Syria launched a large-scale security operation in al-Hol camp, 45 km east of the city of al-Hasakah, eastern Syria, in an effort to end the influence of ISIS cells and eliminate them inside the camp.

In addition, groups of YAT anti-terrorist units have carried out, since 1:30 in the morning, two specific operations in the fifth sector, targeting official of ISIS mercenary cells in the camp.

The two operations lasted for two continuous hours, the first targeted the Emir of the military cell of ISIS in the camp, while the second targeted the Emir of the security cell, with the support of UAVs ' units, after fleeing ISIS cells to another sector.

Al-Hol camp witnesses during the "Humanitarian and Security" campaign from time to time security operations carried out by the YAT counter-terrorism units, based on confessions and information obtained by the Internal Security Forces of northern and eastern Syria from those they arrested during the campaign.

During the past 3 days, the Internal Security Forces of northern and eastern Syria ended the search, and investigation operations in the first, second, third, and seventh sectors, within the camp consisting of 8 main sectors.

This led to the arrest of more than 70 ISIS mercenaries and women who were working as cells inside the camp.
