Muslim: Newroz is core of the Kurdish resistance, sends message that Ocalan is our leader

Member of the Joint Presidency of the Democratic Union Party, Saleh Muslim, confirmed that Newroz Eid is, in fact, a political event, and Newroz 2021 is Newroz resurgence in the face of genocide plans, and explained that one of the main meanings of Newroz Eid is resistance, resistance for freedom, democracy, coexistence and free life.

Saleh Muslim indicated that the Kurdish people sent several messages, including a message to those powers and states, which used to say that Turkey is a strong country and that the Kurdish people will not be able to withstand and do anything, so that the Kurdish people are a steadfast people and can resist in the face of the Turkish occupation state. The most important thing is that the Kurds celebrated Newroz in those same countries.

How do you evaluate Newroz in 2021?

At the outset, I extend my warmest congratulations to our people on the occasion of Nowruz, the people who are resisting these days and at this sensitive and historical stage, as they expressed their legitimate demands during Newroz.

For the first time we said Newroz this year is different that represents the new resurgence, as the enemy is trying to obliterate the identity of our people through its continuous attacks, and our people have sent several messages to the global public opinion and the enemy and to the people of the region and their friends as well.

Here I would like to touch upon the importance and nature of Newroz; Newroz is, in fact, a political event, and it has an impact, and it has been revived for thousands of years by the peoples of Mesopotamia, the Aryan people and the Afghan people, and who have been reviving and adopting it continuously is the Kurdish people, and it has historical connotations.

Why should I focus on Newroz as a political activity? Because some are trying to get it out of its basic content, and consider it a way out on a picnic, and in fact Newroz is not.

The core of Newroz is considered the day of freedom, peace and coexistence and the day of searching for freedom and peace, and everyone who celebrates Nowruz demands that, and everyone who congratulates the arrival of Nowruz congratulates it because it is a political event. They congratulate it because it's a political event, not a picnic.

And in Newroz 2021, the reality of Newroz that we are talking about, as all the Kurdish people in villages and cities went out and called with one voice for freedom, democracy, and coexistence. Therefore, our people must realize the reality of Newroz and proclaim Newroz with its political concept.

You mentioned that Newroz is a political activity, and before Newroz, there were attacks on the Kurdish and Kurdish people, in Başûr (South Kurdistan), Turkey did not stop its attacks, and in northern and eastern Syria, the Turkish occupation state launched attacks on Ain Issa on the eve of Newroz Eid, and in Bakur (Northern Kurdistan), the Kurds were subjected to a systematic campaign of arrests. Nevertheless, the Kurds and the peoples of Kurdistan organized huge events, how do you evaluate that?

Yes, one of the main meanings of Newroz holiday is resistance, resistance for freedom, and democracy, resistance for coexistence and free life, and this confirms the history of the people of the region, as on the one hand they resist and an another side, they celebrate, and all of this is embodied in the spirit of the Kurdish people; You can see very well that the freedom fighters (Guerilla) burn the fire and hold the celebrate, and then carry out operations against the enemy, and another example is Ain Issa district that is being bombed by the Turkish occupation army, and the people celebrate in Newroz in the center of the district.

It is noteworthy during Newroz 2021 that all components of northern and eastern Syria, including the Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Circassians and Turkmen, participated in the Eid. In your opinion, what is the secret of the unity of these components and the celebration with each other?

Yes, the Kurds carried the Newroz torch and adopted it, but it is a festival for all the components of Mesopotamia, for al-Dahhak that was oppressing the peoples was not only unfair to the Kurdish people, but was injustice to all the peoples of the region; During the uprising of the Medes against "al-Dahhak", they established a federation system, which embraced all components of the Kurds, Arabs and Syriacs. Today, during the call of the leader Abdullah Ocalan to revive coexistence in the region, he revives the spirit of Newroz again.

You mentioned the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and here I would like to point out that the components participating in the Newroz celebrations emphasized the need to know accurate information about the health of the leader Ocalan and to physically release his captivity. How do you explain that?

Yes, the leader Abdullah Ocalan was born in Kurdistan and carries the Kurdish culture, and he demanded the rights of the Kurdish people, but with his thought and ideology he demands the salvation of peoples from oppression and tyranny, and now Ocalan's thought is being studied in Egypt, Baghdad, Damascus, Europe and many countries of the world. Because these peoples see their salvation in the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Now the Amazigh people in South Africa are reading the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and they sent telegrams of congratulations on Newroz to the Kurdish people. Everyone who believes in the ideology and ideology of coexistence put forward by the leader Abdullah Ocalan, is fighting for it.

Yes, there are some who say that the leader Abdullah Ocalan grew up in Bakur (Northern Kurdistan), but his thought transcended the borders of the region. If the Amazigh people wanted to establish a system according to the thought and philosophy of Leader Ocalan, this is not a mistake. We in northern and eastern Syria were inspired by our regime from the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and this does not mean that we are associated with the PKK.

Ocalan put forward an idea, philosophy and ideology, and became the inspired of humanity, and everyone who would like to benefit from it can benefit according to his nature.

In Nowroz this year, all components adopted the thought and philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and this is a natural right, and no one has the right to say why you adopt the thought and philosophy of Leader Ocalan. I do not have the right to tell the Indonesian people not to read the Noble Qur’an because it was written in the Arabic language, and I also have no right to tell the Amazigh people do not establish your system according to the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan if they wanted to.

During Newroz in 2021, the Kurdish and Kurdish people sent several messages, how did you read them?

At the outset, I would like to highlight the message that was addressed to the enemy (the Turkish state). As it included the message of the peoples of the region to the enemy, who had drawn up a plan to strike the democratic project since 2014, starting from Şengal to Kobani, which destroyed Kurdish cities in Bakur Kurdistan, and launched attacks six years ago on Başûr Southern Kurdistan; That you will not be able to destroy this people no matter what you do, and this people is alive and steadfast, and has fighters, and you will not be able to continue your war against us.

As for the message that the peoples of the region sent to those powers and states, which said that Turkey is a strong country and that the Kurdish people will not be able to withstand and do anything, it was that the Kurdish people are a steadfast people and can resist in the face of the Turkish occupation state. The most important thing is that the Kurds celebrated Newroz in those same countries.

As for the internal message, that is, to the Kurdish people, it was addressed to some parties who claim that the Kurdish people are divided, as the message included that the Kurdish people are united in the four parts of Kurdistan, and their fate is linked to each other and their enemy is one. And this message was wonderful.

In Newroz Rojava, Başûr, Bakur, and Rojhalt of Kurdistan, everyone launched one slogan, according to which the one who represents the Kurdish people and addresses the Kurdish people is the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and who wishes to solve the Kurdish issue and communicate with the Kurdish people must negotiate with Ocalan, and this message was directed in a way. Especially to the Turkish state.

Newroz in 2021 included several messages, and proved that the components of northern and eastern Syria are united and established their unity under the roof of the Autonomous Administration.

What is required of the Kurdish people now?

The people of the region continue their struggle, and we must focus on the messages that came out of Newroz 2021, whether they are political, diplomatic or on the level of relations, and put them in our plan, on top of which is the freedom of Leader Ocalan.

Here, I would like to address some of those who say what is our business in Rojava with leader Ocalan, and I say that the existing regime in northern and eastern Syria is thanks to the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, who is now detained by the enemy. We have the right to claim his freedom, we have the right to demand the application of international laws against him.

Why do we express our dissatisfaction and annoyance at what is happening in South Africa and Vietnam, and why do we not get upset about our leader, that leader on whose name more than 12 thousand martyrs called in north and east Syria before their martyrdom?
