SDF: 37 mercenaries killed during 3 days of Ain Issa battles

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) revealed the outcome of three days of resisting the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in Ain Issa, and explained that as a result of SDF fighters' response to the attacks, 37 mercenaries were killed, 18 others were wounded, 3 armored vehicles and 2 Dushka weapons were destroyed, two military vehicles were wrecked, and BKC weapon as well as a quantity of military equipment were seized.

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement revealing the outcome of 3 days of resistance by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Ain Issa.

The statement included:

In order to legitimize their attacks on Ain Issa, the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries issued statements claiming that our units carry out operations against them and suffer great losses. These statements have nothing to do with the truth, as the Turkish state and its mercenaries are carrying out the attacks and suffering heavy losses in those attacks. The Turkish state, with such statements, conceals its losses and turns over the facts.

Recently, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries between March 18^th and 20^th launched strong attacks on the M4 road and north of Ain Issa, and to confront those attacks in which heavy weapons were used and at the same time ground attacks were launched, our forces displayed unparalleled resistance. In the Newroz spirit, the enemy attacks were thwarted. The outcome of 3 days of battles is as follows:

On March 19^th, in the attacks on the villages of Saida and Maalek, the attacks did not achieve any result due to our forces' response, and as a result of the clashes, 16 mercenaries were killed and 7 others were wounded, an armored vehicle was also destroyed, and the Turkish state targeted many civilian places with heavy weapons. As a result of the shelling, a child lost his life and 5 civilians were wounded.

On March 20^th, the occupation army and its mercenaries, who suffered heavy losses in the clashes, shelled the area with tanks, obises and mortars, and launched ground attacks again. As a result of our forces' response, 10 mercenaries were killed in the village of Saida and 4 others were wounded, and in the village of Maalek, 8 mercenaries were killed and 5 mercenaries were wounded. In addition, two Dushka weapons and two military vehicles were destroyed, and two military vehicles were wrecked.

On the same day, our forces carried out a bombing operation against the occupiers, and the operation resulted in killing 3 mercenaries and wounding 2 others.

On March 21^st, the occupation army bombarded the villages of Mushairfeh, Saida, Maalek, the M4 road and the vicinity of Ain Issa, and the clashes continued in separate areas until noon.

As a result of the 3-day resistance, a total 37 mercenaries were killed and 18 mercenaries were wounded. 3 military vehicles and 2 Dushka weapons were destroyed, 2 vehicles were damaged, and a BKC weapon and a quantity of military equipment were seized.

As a result of the shelling, a child lost his life and 5 civilians were wounded.

In the statements issued by the Ministry of Defense of the Turkish occupation state regarding these three days, great losses in our ranks mentioned, but this is not true.

In those clashes that lasted for 3 days, 4 of our comrades were martyred, and 4 others got wounded.
