​​​​​​​Dinc: access should be given to Ocalan immediately

After the allegation put into circulation by the Turkish state media outlets regarding the situation of leader Ocalan, the Asir Legal Office issued a statement that these allegations are serious and access ought to be made immediately to the Imrali Island Prison, as well as making an application to the  Public Prosecutor to visit their client, but have received any answer to that, as all Kurdistanis took to the streets in all Kurdistan and the European and the world at large. 

Mazlum Dinc in an interview with ANHA said :

''all these allegations are a part in the long process of isolation, Ocalan and the three others held at the Imrali Island Prison are isolated tightly, they have no access to outside, neither family nor lawyers are given access to them, the last of which was on April 27^th, 2020, that is a tight isolation and torture, on this we have no information, for this we lay much more importance on these allegations to which our bids are underway to be given access to them and to get true information but up to date nothing had happened''. 

''an insufficient statement was released yesterday by the Public Prosecution in the city of Bursa to remove such doubts on the life of leader, we have to get information on the life of Mr. Ocalan from himself, directly, for this we ought to access him, to verify all these allegations and to remove concern in society, families and lawyers, periodical meetings ought to be made not once in case allegations are made, this run in conformity with the Turkish laws and the human rights conventions that provide for weekly meetings by both family and lawyers, and contact via messages and phone calls, as this was mentioned by the CPT. 

We don not the body that issues these allegations and news and the aims it covers, for concerns us is that they relate to the life of Mr. Ocalan, and these actions are unacceptable, not to mention the tight isolation and the body attacks under the cloak of inspecting his room, that is undoubtedly political motivated as messages are being sent via Mr. Ocalan, that is rejected, these actions must be avoided.

In the last years Turkey acknowledged the role played by Mr. Ocalan to which deliberations were commenced to find a solution to the Kurdish Question, and reconciliation, now Mr. Ocalan's project is for the whole Middle East not only for the Kurdish Question, so, serious steps should be taken. All these threats that are posed for different intentions are not acceptable, proper circumstances must be offered for Mr. Ocalan to take his role in solving problems, Ocalan had paid stress on the necessity of creating security, sanitary and free conditions to be able to introduce peace that were clarified more after these allegations.  

The role to be played by Mr. Ocalan in a chance for both Turkey and the Middle East the role that all people have been aware of and the importance it has to propose peace and solve issues.

The main task of the CPT is to prevent torture in Turkish jails, the Imrali Island Prison is the most isolated and torture stricken, the CPT did not pay a visit to the prison when it visited Turkey rather it contacted with some Turkish officials, that is not a proper action, to which the CPT is a part to the system run in Imrali.

After years of isolation and due to the hunger strikes contact was made with Mr. Ocalan for 5 times, but generally, lawyers rights to contact clients are being breached since 2011. Since 2014, families are not allowed access to prisoners, except for rarely, that is not complying with laws, the negligence shown by the CPT is an accomplice to the issue, fo so we appeal to the European anti torture committees to intervene, in accordance with the agreed upon and not as political bargains entail, and not to give blind eye to legal and human rights breaches inside jails.   

Had all these breaches against the Kurdish people and Mr. Ocalan were perpetrated anywhere, the whole public opinion and the international associations world would have revolted but when it comes to Mr. Ocalan the whole world preserves silence and gives a blind eye. All these associations ought to bear responsibility and take firm action more notably after these allegations were made, to take bids to meet leader Ocalan.

Turkey as a mere watchman on Imrali Island Prison

Ideas of Mr. Ocalan do not run in line with the homogenizing powers, if these are put into action these powers would diminish from the Middle East scene, on this they are all consistent and the international plot against leader Ocalan was not carried out by Turkey alone.

As Mr. Ocalan once said the ther Turkish role in the plot was no more than that of a watchman there were many countries that took part in the plot, England, U.S., Israel, Russia and many others, in addition to some Kurdish powers, by the participation of all these the Imrali System was formulated, the mere such powers are still, the deciding parts in the plot, had it not been one part they system would have failed, and the Turkish State would has not been able alone to continue the isolation, it is just a continuation to the international plot. 

All this is being done to forbid Mr. Ocaln from playing his role and duties and thence to easily carry on their policies in the Middle East but we are all confident that they would meet failure, for in spite of the isolation ideas of leader find their way to the whole Middle East as well as the project that he developed.

It is very more obvious that there has been convergence both in the popular arena and in the Middle East and the whole world, that increases day after another, that all call for the release of leader that would very nearly see light all in conformity with the international laws, in 2014, the International Tribunal for Human Rights stated that life imprisonment is not acceptable it never conforms with the international norms, after 7 year Turkey has not taken any firm step in this regard, the political will as well as decisions are the ones that deters Mr. Ocalan to be freed.  

Since the very days of the Imrali Island System, up to date, is be supervised internationally for this Mr. Ocalan says whatever happens to me won't be normal or natural, for everything takes place in conformity with political decisions even meetings run in this course. 

All measures taken against Mr. Ocalan are politically motivated that entails political consequences, Mr. Ocalan is not a normal figure many peoples all over the worlds view him as their own leader, not only Kurds'.   

It is 111 days that the hunger strikes were commenced after these allegation were made protests were held in Kurdistan, the Middle East and the world at large, how this would affect ?

In the past the community took firm actions against these allegations and claims on the life of leader Ocalan, after the hunger strikes in 2019, visits were made to Mr. Ocalan, that asked for these strikes to come to an end.

Everyone is concerned, we would continue these protests and activities, that is very obvious, to avoid any action not favorable torture ought to be renounced and visits being made.
