In few days ... Turkish shells kill 3 children in Ain Issa

Turkish artillery shells on the neighborhoods of Ain Issa and neighboring villages killed 3 children, raising the death toll from the Turkish aggression on the town to 9 civilians in 4 months.

The vicinity of the strategic town of Ain Issa in NE Syria on the (M4) international road, witnessed a Turkish military escalation in attempts to occupy 3 villages east and west of the town, at a time when the Syrian Democratic Forces announced that they had foiled the Turkish-affiliated factions' attempt.

Unexploded mortar shells are spread in the town and villages of Saida, Maqal, Jahbl, Khaldiya, Mishrifa, Hoshan and on the M4 international road, in months of the Turkish aggression.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Girê Spi / Tal Abyad Military Council, Riad al-Khalaf, had previously told our agency about unexploded shells; "Turkish shells rained brutally on the town," adding that "residents are afraid of ticking bombs that threaten their lives on a daily basis as the Turkish shelling continues on the town."

On Monday, 12-year-old Ahmed Ibrahim Abdel-Rahim lost his life in a mortar shell fired by the Turkish occupation a few weeks ago, at the eastern entrance of Ain Issa.

Another shell exploded in the village of Umm Huwaish, west of the sub-district, claiming lives of the two children, Saddam Ali Al-Hussein (15) and Hamada Ali Muhammad (12).

The two children Obaid Ismail Al-Ahmad (16) and Muhammad Ali Ahmed (18) lost their lives, while two others were seriously injured near the village of Abu Surra on the international road, on the 27th of November of last year, as a result of the explosion of an artillery shell remnant of the bombing Turkish.

In 4 months, the Turkish bombing on Ain Issa district, 9 civilians lost their lives and wounded 16 others, in addition to displacing people of 6 villages, and destroying homes in the northern and southern neighborhoods of Ain Issa.

On more than one occasion, the Autonomous Administration of the North and East of Syria called on the guarantor Russian government and the United States of America to shoulder their responsibilities regarding the Turkish military crimes in Ain Issa.

Russia ignores the brutal Turkish bombing, despite the deployment of units of the Syrian government forces and the Russian military police on the contact lines in the town, according to the Sochi agreement signed between Ankara and Moscow on October 22 to monitor the ceasefire.
