Zehra Simo: our struggle way to feminist world emancipation 

Today the Darbassiye festivity was held at the Main Garage in the city, with the participation of hundreds of women and the people in the region. 

After a minute of silence was observed, the festivity was commenced by a speech delivered by Zehra Simo, member in the Women's Office in the PYD, in the Darbassiye District, that expressed congratulations to all women and fighters of the YPJ and all martyrs that sacrificed their lives on the way to freedom.

''March 8^th, is a very significant day, for on this day women revolted and fought for the obtainment of their rights and gaining equality'', she said.

Zehra noted that the Kurdish woman has become a symbol for the sacrifices she made and the fight put up and that is not anew for the whole history corroborates as she stood up to the patriarchal authority and she has gained prominence after the bravery performed in the fight against the ISIS mercenary groups.
