Under ''Our Struggle Gives Guarantee to the Feminist Revolution'', feminist activities marking the International Women's Day, on March 8th, in North Eastern Syria have commenced in the town of Himo, dependent on the city of Qamishlo.

QAMISHLO

The activity that is being organized by the Kongra Star Coordination, marking the International Women's Day, Mach 8th, has been set off in the town of Himo in western Qamishlo city, with the participation of thousands of Kurdish, Syriac and Arab women all wearing their respective folklore costumes.

An open call to the festivity was made on the part of the Kongra Star Coordination to mark the International Women's Day, March 8th.

Participants at the festivity are thousands of women from all cities and areas of North Eastern Syria, representatives of various feminist associations and bodies in Syria, and Syria's Democratic Council, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, YPJ and members of the Syrian Democratic Forces. 

The festivity was commenced with a minute of silence in honour of all martyrs on the course of freedom, then the attendees were all welcomed by Kurdish, Arabic and Syriac.

It is scheduled that Remziye Mohamed deliver the Kongra Star Coordination speech, Najla' Tame of Syria's Women Council, Nasrine Abdullah of Women's Protection Units, the YPJ and Mariana Issa of the Syriac Feminist Union.
