The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Arden, presented a protest letter to the UN Security Council and the Secretary of the United Nations, accusing Iran of launching attack against Israeli ship in Oman Gulf.

Arden demanded the members in the council to decry Iran attack, due to its assault, stressing that Israel will protect its people and its sovereignty as much as possible."

And earlier yesterday, the Iranian government warned that it "monitors suspicious Israeli moves and will not allow Israel to commit any stupidity against its national interests."

And added that the Israeli accusation against Tehran of the bombing of the Israeli ship was due to "(Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu's concern about the revival of the nuclear agreement and the return of diplomacy with Iran."
