PYD condemns Hewler attack

Yesterday a statement was released by the PYD, to the public opinion in reference to the rocket attack on Hewler calling for the protection of all gains made via sacrifices made by martyrs, reads as follows: 

''time and again, to subvert the will of our Kurdish people and gains made, in line with the Mount Gara offensive, Hewler, capital of Southern Kurdistan was targeted in a cowardly offensive threatens security and stability of the region.

''we condemn the attack against our people in Southern Kurdistan and we offer condolences to families of the victims and wishing recovery for all wounded. 

''the mere goal of the attack is to strike at the gains made by our people in Southern Kurdistan and we stress that it was done to stir up the region so it is very important to verify the powers behind the onslaught and holding them accountable.

''the Gara attack that was followed by Hewler's and the unremitting threats made against Rojava Kurdistan all corroborate the dangers posed to the Kurdish people, to which national unity is an urgent need.

''all powers behind the attack aim to put an end to the Kurdish identity making them open to extermination, for this we ought to be one hand to give protection to our gains made thanks to the sacrifices made by martyrs''.
