What happened in Ain Issa during 70 days of attacks?

Since the 23^rd of November of last year, Turkey and its mercenaries began to launch a military attack in an attempt to impose a siege on the town of Ain Issa, with the withdrawal of vehicles for the Russian guarantor forces from a military base south of the town.

However, the mercenaries affiliated with Ankara were unable to reach the international road from the eastern and western sides of the town, while the Syrian Democratic Forces announced that they had thwarted 3 ground attacks, during which 65 mercenaries were killed, including Turkish soldiers, and wounded 53 others.

The attacks were accompanied by launching hundreds of artillery and missile shells by the Turkish occupation, in addition to the use of tanks on the town and its countryside; During the 70 days of the attacks, the bombing targeted 165 sites in the neighborhoods of Ain Issa, the villages of Al-Jahbel, Mushayrafa, Fatasa, Saida, Maalak, Al-Khaldiya, Hoshan and Ain Issa camp.

The Turkish shelling and attack caused the displacement of the residents of 6 villages from their homes, as well as the destruction of homes in the northern and southern neighborhoods of Ain Issa.

Turkey targeted populated villages in addition to indiscriminate shelling of Ain Issa neighborhoods, as 6 civilians lost their lives, including children, while 16 others were injured as a result of the Turkish bombing.

Within two months, the Turkish occupation forces established 3 military bases in the vicinity of the town of Ain Issa, equipped with radars, surveillance cameras and heavy weapons in the north of the villages of Saida, Mashrifa and Al Muallaq.

Almost daily attacks and shelling are still continuing on the town and its countryside.
