Politicians: Turkey wants to revive Ottomans through massacres

Politicians from Manbij commented on the Turkish occupation state's new massacre in the Tal Rifaat district, that Turkey seeks to undermine the will and spirit of resistance in the region and revive the Ottomans by committing massacres.

The Turkish occupation state continues its violations and attacks on the Syrian lands, especially the northeast regions of Syria, where it occupied many areas of the Syrian territories, displaced its original inhabitants and carried out the demographic change. Turkey was not satisfied with that, but committed massacres against them, such as Tel Rifaat days ago, as a number of civilians were killed.

In this context, the official in the Syrian National Democratic Alliance Party in Manbij and its countryside, Munna al-Khalaf, told Hawar news agency (ANHA) that “since the beginning of the popular movement in Syria, Turkey has exploited the Syrian opposition that it supported. Of course, this opposition has not met the aspirations of the Syrian people, but rather those of the Turkish state. "

"And after occupying Syrian territories, the Turkish state committed many massacres and violations, and Afrin was the most vulnerable region to violations, including displacement, killing, and policies to erase the culture, identity of the region by dealing in the Turkish currency, and changing the curriculum," Al-Khalaf added.

She pointed out that "Turkey was not satisfied with these measures, but pursued the defenseless, deported people in the Tal Rifaat region and committed a massacre against them several days ago, as a number of children and women were killed in Turkish bombing."

And she pointed that the Turkish violations indicate Turkey’s endeavor to sow panic and fear in the hearts of the people and undermine the spirit of resistance, but emphasized that Turkey will fail because the displaced want to return to their lands.

In the conclusion of her speech, Al-Khalaf said that all these massacres against the people indicate the failure of the Russian guarantor's role in stopping these violations, and it indicates that Turkey wants to expand its occupation to make it a new barter file, such as Syria's Idlib.

For his part, a member of the political body in the Syrian National Democratic Alliance Party in Manbij, Abdul Aziz al-Aboud, spoke about the violations against the peoples of the region, saying: “The massacre of Tal Rifaat did not find a deterrent, another massacre to be added to the Turkish crimes and massacres record against the Syrians ".

Al-Aboud added, saying that the Turkish occupation state aspires and strives to revive the Ottoman Empire through killing, brutality, looting and plunder, pointing out that "this is the history of the Turkish state against the peoples of the region."

At the end of his speech, he noted that "the Turkish occupation always targets the Syrian people to break the people's will of resistance, and the Turkish occupation still threatens to occupy more Syrian lands with the aim of increasing its occupation."
