In new escalation… KDP cut down trees near Guerilla points

The militants of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) began cutting down trees in the areas near Guerilla fighters, as well as building military points for them, according to Roj News.

According to agency reports from the region, the militants of the Democratic Party (KDP) began a campaign to cut down trees in Qesrê area of ​​Çoman and the town of Wertê Rawandoz belonging to Hawler province, in Southern Kurdistan.

The agency said that the areas where the KDP is cutting down trees are: Zînî Wertê, Jabal Gewe, Jabal Direb, Tel- Kêle near of Wertê town, Tel- Maynesur, Tel Xanolan, Welzêy village near of Qesrê town, Tel Kulîtar the surrounding areas.”

The agency quoted information according to which leaders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) had asked residents of the region to cut down trees without any monitoring and accountability.

At the end of December of last year, the Turkish occupation army cut down trees in the villages of Dohuk Governorate, which is controlled by the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Southern Kurdistan.

It is noteworthy that the Kurdistan Democratic Party is colluding with the occupation in pursuing a hostile policy towards Guerilla fighters, and is building new military bases near them, and transferring heavy weapons to those areas, in provocative steps.
