Intellectuals: Continuing isolation related to capitalist powers' interest in Middle East

Intellectuals have unanimously agreed that the continuation of the strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan aims in the first place to maintain the capitalist system's hegemony, and to prevent the spread of the modern democratic ideology proposed by the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

With an international conspiracy, international powers led by the United States of America, the European Union, Israel, Russia and African countries captured the leader Abdullah Ocalan on February 15, 1999, and handed him over to Turkey to impose strict isolation on him and prevent the lawyers and his family from meeting with him.

Despite the international reports issued by the Committee against Torture regarding the conditions contrary to international laws imposed by Turkey on Imrali detention center, the Turkish state continues its isolation with international blessing.

Isolation is imposed with the aim of perpetuating colonial influence in the Middle East

The administrator in the Intellectuals' Union Office in ed-Dirbasiyah district, Ahmed Suleiman, supported what the leader Abdullah Ocalan said when he was captured in 1999, and said: "The Third World War will begin with my arrest."

Suleiman explained that the aim of capturing the leader and imposing isolation on him is "to escalate crises and form areas of influence for the colonial powers in the Middle East after the First and Second World Wars."

Suleiman referred to the prominent role of international forces in capturing the leader and imposing isolation on him: "The Third World War began with the emergence of the philosophy and thought of the democratic nation, and its contradiction with the interests of capitalist countries, so the capitalist countries were and still have a prominent role in the plot hatched against the leader Abdullah Ocalan and tightening isolation on him."

He continued: "The goal of Turkey and the capitalist countries that support it in tightening the isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is to suppress the ideas of the leader and prevent them from spreading on a wider scale in the Middle East and the world, as they are the most appropriate solution to solve the problems of the Middle East."

Suleiman pointed out that there are internal goals related to the power struggle in Turkey: "Turkey is trying by various means to prevent the truth from being revealed about what is going on inside Turkey by arresting politicians and journalists, and then exporting these crises abroad by interfering in the internal affairs of neighboring countries."

Suleiman stressed the need to implement the leader's directives to achieve Kurdish national unity, stressing that "the Kurds need Kurdish unity more than ever before."

Suleiman called on all intellectuals, politicians and free people to take a firm stand to lift isolation.

Member of the Intellectuals Union in ed-Dirbasiyah district and writer Akram Darwish indicated that the continuation of isolation will be met with protest-activists on an ongoing basis.

Darwish agreed with Suleiman regarding the interests of the capitalist forces by continuing to isolate the leader Abdullah Ocalan: "After our reading of the philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and our belief in his thought and philosophy, we saw that all the capitalist countries whose interests conflict with the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan are conspiring and insist on tightening the isolation, as the existence and permanence of capitalists in the Middle East is closely linked to isolation."
