Al-Arabiya network said that two Turkish military cargo planes landed today, Tuesday, at Al-Wataya base.

In turn, Libyan media quoted informed sources today as saying that Ankara had transferred missile batteries and two 3D-radar systems to the Libyan territories.

This comes a few days after the visit of Turkey's Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, to Tripoli.

The Libyan parties are seeking to reach a political solution that ends the crisis of the years-long war-torn country, and a ceasefire agreement was reached in November that puts an official end to the fighting and paves the way for elections late next year.
