TEV-DEM congratulates Christians on Christmas and New Year

The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) blessed the advent of Christmas on the Christians and all the peoples of North and East Syria, wishing that the new year would be a year in which peace prevails throughout Syria.

On the occasion of birthdays and the New Year, the Democratic Society Movement issued a congratulatory card in which it said:

On the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day, the days that witnessed the birth of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, the Messenger of love and tolerance, we present on behalf of the Democratic Society Movement with the highest congratulations to the Christian brothers of all sects in northern and eastern Syria and all over the world and we hope that these holidays will be an opportunity to strengthen brotherhood of peoples, consolidate dialogue between all peoples, and block any attempt to create confusion and discrimination between the children of the peoples of northern and eastern Syria in particular.

We congratulate once again all the Christian siblings on these blessed days, and we hope that peace will prevail in our regions and all of Syria in the new year.
