Villages besieged, raids, kidnappings target people in occupied Afrin

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to besiege villages in the occupied Afrin canton, abduct civilians and arbitrarily raid homes of indigenous people.

On the four of this December, the Turkish occupation mercenaries besieged the villages of Basofan and Kabashin in the Sherawa district from all directions and launched a kidnapping campaign, after which they raided the homes of the people and kidnapped dozens of civilians without discrimination between women and men.

Among the kidnapped civilians were known as: Khalil Ahmado, Arab Shaheen Arabo, Rizan Ibrahim Haydar Arabo, 22, Sheikh Ezzedin Ibrahim, Jano Qasim Qassem, Ramzi Fawzi Ahmed Alou, Riyad Ali Saif Din, 33, Nabu Ali Usu, Gharib Musa Nabu, Jumblatt Saeed Junaid Ghazala Salmo, 40 years old.

After Basofan, Turkish mercenaries, accompanied by Turkish intelligence, besieged the village of Baia, adjacent to Basofan, and kidnapped more than 15 citizens, among them: Omar Hassan Khloo, Musa Ali, Nasser Omar, Haji Ibrahim, Saeed Ahmed, Roulat Saed Ahmed, Ibrahim Musa Ali, Jamal Bahri ,Izzat Bahri, Ahmed Muhammad Mahmoud, Mahmoud Sabri Hamo, Muhammad Hassan Khalil, Marwan Haji Othman, Muhammad Mustafa Mamo and Mustafa Othman Mahmoud. The mercenaries have also confiscated the mobile phones of the people.

A few days ago, mercenaries of the so-called "Jabha Shamiya" launched a massive campaign of arrests that affected the villages of Aranda, Ashura, Qasamu, Dala and Shitka, besieging the village of Mirkan and kidnapping more than 100 residents of the village, according to sources from the region.

The information indicates that the kidnapping campaign is still continuing, while the mercenaries continue to besiege the villages of Sherawa district and Mirkan village in Mobata district, and the people are prevented from entering or leaving the villages.
