The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have stepped up their attacks on Ain Issa district in northeast Syria, despite previous agreements between the Syrian Democratic Forces and Russia, which is considered a guarantor against the Turkish attacks.

Regarding this, the Secretary-General of the Syrian Change and Renaissance Party, Mustafa Qalaa Ji, said: "The Astana trio is not fit to be a sponsor of the political process in Syria because it is not reasonable for the occupier to be a guarantor."

Qalaa Ji added: "Protecting Ain Issa is not the Russians' responsibility alone - knowing the complicity of the United States with Turkish attacks, it is Turkey's clear and public consent to occupy what it wants."

The Syrian politician stressed that all Syrians must rely only on their alliances, capabilities and not be taken lightly in confronting these attacks against Syria.

At the end of his speech, Qalaa Ji said: "Everyone is required to stand in one trench, the Syrian army forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces, with all the honorable people of the country, each according to their position. The foreigner is an occupier and not an ally."
