Armenians rally to demand PM's resignation 

Hundreds of Armenian opponents demonstrated again, today, in the capital Yerevan, to protest against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's neglect of their call to quit over as a result of the ceasefire agreement he concluded with Azerbaijan on the 9th of last November.

The demonstrators closed the streets of Yerevan, chanting "Nicole traitor" and "Armenia without Nicole", in response to the opposition's call to protest after the deadline set for Pashinyan to step down, which was Tuesday midday, without giving up power.

In a televised speech, Eshkhan Sagatlian, a political opposition and representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Union Party, announced today, after the deadline had passed, the start of a coordinated civil disobedience.

Sagatlian said, "Nicole ... you will go anyway, leave peacefully."

The opposition said it intends to close streets across the country and disrupt the national transportation network if necessary, while Pashinyan did not comment on the protests.
