Today, a number of Kurdish civil activists protested in front of the United Nations office in the city of Qamishlo, in protest against the presentation of the pro-Turkey Syrian opposition delegation's working paper to the Syrian Constitution Writing Committee, which consists of 150 people, as the content of it did not refer to any national rights for the Kurds.

During the protest, the activists raised banners bearing the slogans: "A fair Kurdish representation in the Constitution Committee is a fair representation of all the free people."

Among the activists, Shams Antar, who said: “A year ago I started writing the new Syrian constitution, and it is among the political solutions that will be applied in Syria. A few days ago, the opposition delegation submitted a working paper to the SCC, but this it did not mention any national rights for the Kurds. "

Shams added, "The Kurds live on their historical land and made a lot of sacrifices; it is their right to rule themselves on their own."
