After about two years, Sisi meets Macron in Elysee

The visit begins with an official welcoming party followed by a meeting between the two presidents in the Elysee and then a press conference, according to "International Monte Carlo". After that, Sisi will meet the President of the French Parliament, Richard Ferrand, and the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, before a dinner in the Elysee.

The two presidents will also evaluate the two countries' cooperation in major files related to regional security, such as combating terrorism, the Libyan crisis and differences with Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean.

On Tuesday, Sisi heads to the Arc de Triomphe to lay a wreath at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier before meeting Prime Minister Jean Castex and Senate President Gerard Larcher.

On Sunday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Paris on a three-day official visit, which aims to strengthen cooperation between Paris and Cairo in facing crises in the Middle East, without ignoring the issue of human rights in Egypt, according to French media.
