Belgian pledges to war wounded in NE Syria

A Belgian delegation on a visit to north eastern Syria, has pledged support  to the War Wound Association in North Eastern Syria via participation in providing medical aids.

The Belgian delegation, on visit to northeastern Syria, proceeds for the fourth day successively to tour different areas in north eastern Syria, via holding a series of meetings and visits to bodies and association of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and civil society associations.

The Belgian delegation, that arrived at the city of Qamishlo late Friday, is made up of members of the Federal Parliament of Belgium, George Dalmani and Qwen Mteso, and head of the International Association for the Victims of Terrorism, Philip Vanstitikste, and member to the body Rudi Melek and the executive head of  Child Focus, of the Missing and Sexually Exploited Children, Hyde De Paolo.    

The delegation paid a visit to the War Wounded Association in North Eastern Syria, with the aim to acquaint on the actual reality of the war wounded, and endeavor to provide support and assist hygienically and logistically, according to the delegation in question after the meeting that was held between the two sides.

The delegation met some wounded of whom Fatima Umar and Egid Ibrahim, co-chairs of the War Wounded Coordination in North Eastern Syria, and a number of physicians superintending military hospitals in addition to co-chair of Doctors' Union Ahmed Yusuf. 

In the meeting, a draft project was delivered to the Belgian delegation for the support to the War Wounded, including numerous files of people in question whose statuses necessitate medication outside, and the necessary needs to develop the hygienic side of the war wounded.
