Today, Turkish Occupation Forces, accompanied by four Russian armored vehicles, have removed some blocks of the concrete fence, close to the village of Xerezê, to open a new entrance on the Syrian Turkish border in Rojava.

Military sources clarified to ANHA's correspondent that such an opening in the concrete fence comes for the sake of conducting next joint patrols.

The new gap, that was supervised by Turkish soldiers and officers, which lies at the village of Xerezê, of the Amuda District, is some 14 km to the east of the city of  Darbassiyê, with just the 10 m distance from the Darbassiyê- Amuda Highway.

Worth to note that the Xerezê Gate has been open in compliance with the Sochi Agreement, but Turkish Occupation Forces used to enter the Rojava soil from the military gap at the border village of Şêrik, and sometimes from the one at the village of Erade between the village of Qermanê and that of Çetelê, to the west of the city of Darbassiyê.
