The SOHR stated that new batches of Turkish mercenaries returned to the Syria from Azerbaijan, after the Turkish efforts to settle them were unsuccessful, as the Azerbaijani government turned down to resettle them in Azerbaijan and the Karabakh region.

According to the sources of the Observatory, more than 900 Syrian mercenaries returned to Syria in batches, the most recent of which was last Thursday, in anticipation of the return of new batches within the next few hours and days.

It is noteworthy that the number of Syrian mercenaries who transferred them to Azerbaijan amounted to 2580 mercenaries, 900 of whom returned after the Azerbaijani government refused to settle, just as 342 mercenaries had previously returned after they had given up everything, including their material dues, and the death toll of mercenaries since they were thrown into the first rows of battles by the Turkish government, that is, since the end of last September, amounted to 293 dead, according to the statistics of the Syrian Observatory.
