The G20 Summit is being held for the first time in the Arab world in Saudi Arabia, and is scheduled to take place next Saturday, via video link and on a smaller scale this year, and its work is scheduled to last for two days.

It is expected that its discussions will diminish due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus and the global economic crisis.

According to the AFP, the summit, which is usually an opportunity for bilateral dialogues between world leaders, will be limited to brief online sessions on the most pressing global issues, from climate change to rising levels of inequality.

G20 Summit is a forum established in 1999 due to the financial crises of the 1990s. This forum represents two-thirds of trade and the number of people in the world. It aims to bring together important industrial and developed countries in order to discuss fundamental issues in the global economy.
