Nadine Meanza from Manbij: Our views will be transferred to US administration

Nadine Maenza 's statements came during a press conference held in Manbij, following a series of visits that included a number of civil administration institutions in Manbij and its countryside.

Sheikho mentioned that Nadine Meanza visited during her tour the institutions and service committees, including the Municipalities Committee, Local Councils, the Education and Pedagogy Committee, the Economy and Agriculture Committee, the Finance Committee and the Women's Committee, where the meeting took place with these committees, bodies, offices of the Executive Council and the Office of Humanitarian Organizations, and a working mechanism was explained. She expressed her happiness to visit the city of Manbij, and stated that these areas are witnessing an exceptional experience, after defeating Daesh and establishing of autonomous administrations and civil administrations.

She praised the respect and freedom enjoyed by the societies in the region for beliefs and religions, as well as the distinguished role of women in the institutions of democratic civil administration in Manbij and its countryside.

And added " she noticed that all components, ethnicities and sects of Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen and Circassians in all administration bodies and institutions have equal participation. She also indicated that she had received information during her visit about the presence of Christian families in the city, who were forced to flee during the occupation of ISIS mercenaries, and she wished that these families would return to the city and participate in its management.

She also touched on the difficulties faced by civilian administrations, especially with regard to the Turkish threats, indicating the need for political recognition of these departments, and she confirmed that they would convey their impressions to the American administration and that they would work to convey recommendations to the American administration on the necessity of recognizing the Autonomous Administration in Northern and Eastern Syria.
