Curfew imposed in Euphrates region

According to the circular, the curfew starts from October 15 and continues until the 26th of it, and the circular stated that it is based on the outputs of the Corona Crisis Cell and the evaluation of the Health Authority in the Euphrates Region, which foretells a humanitarian disaster unless it is acted responsibly towards this epidemic that has spread rapidly. Following wide spread in the region and an increase in deaths, it decided to impose a general and total curfew in the region.

The circular stipulated the complete closure of public facilities, commercial and industrial shops, and places of worship in order to cut the cycle of infection from one individual to another.

The text of the circular stated the suspension of all forms of work in the Autonomous Administration institutions.

The circular exempted the establishments whose work nature require continuity from the ban and included "the health authority with its full staff, private clinics and pharmacies, the local administration and the environment (cleaners, emergency work, water emergencies), mills, bakeries, accredited bread selling and electricity emergencies."

The Crisis Cell hope that the people would cooperate in order to overcome this ordeal by following the means of prevention, and taking the necessary needs that would suffice for the period of the curfew.
