​​​​​​​Washington imposes sanctions on Iranian entities in China and Taiwan

Today, the US Department of Treasury imposed new sanctions on Iran. These sanctions included 4 individuals and 6 entities linked to Iran.

The list of figures sanctioned included "Muhammad Bani Hashemi who lives in Aqdasiyeh neighborhood of Tehran, and Huang, Chen Hiwa (nicknamed "Cin Huang"), a Thai citizen born in 1978, Muhammad Sultan Muhammadi, an Iranian who also holds British citizenship, and Su Shi Mi, a Taiwanese born in 1969 in Taitung, Taiwan."

As for the new entities classified on the sanctions list, they are: "Artin Corporation, DES INTERNATIONAL which is located in the World Trade Center in Taipei in Taiwan, Huda Trading Company, and the well-known Naz Technology Company located in the World Trade Center in Taiwan, and the well-known Broma production company located in Hong Kong, China, and Soltec Company located in Hong Kong.

The US envoy to Iran said that the President Trump will continue the campaign of pressure on the "Iranian regime" until the next inauguration ceremony, indicating that it will be difficult for the president-elect, Joe Biden, to return the United States to the nuclear agreement signed in 2015.

And Elliott Abrams' comments to reporters came during a visit to Israel which strongly opposes the nuclear deal.
