The Syriac Progressive Youth Union in al-Jazeera region organized a march in support of the troops of the Syriac Military Council and the Syrian Democratic Forces in Tel Tamr district, and to express their rejection of the Turkish threats and violations.

Dozens of Syriac youth gathered at al-Dowar al-Kabeer (The Large Roundabout) of Tel Tamr city holding banners with "We salute women's resistance in the face of the Turkish occupation and the women forces of Beth Nahrin (Between Rivers)" and "No for a new Seyfo against our Assyrian-Syriac people, we will not forget 1915" written on, as they raised during their gathering flags of the Syriac Progressive Youth Union.

The march went through the main streets of the city chanting the slogans that salute the military forces, and it ceased in front of the Syriac Military Council in the city center to be turned into a mass gathering, during which a speech was delivered.

Sobhi Malaki, the Head of the Syriac Progressive Youth Union in Syria saluted at the beginning of his speech the resistance of the military forces stationed on the battlefronts in the face of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, as well as saluting the revolutionary youth campaign in north and east Syria which was held under the title "We Will Definitely Triumph."

He also pointed out during his speech that "the Assyrian-Syriac youth did not give up their struggle on the military and security levels. The best proof of this is the martyrdom of dozens of our youth on all combat zones against the terrorist organizations and the Turkish occupation's attacks, which occupied a large area of north Syria from Afrin to Serêkaniyê..

Malaki added: "Today, we condemn all war crimes, human rights violations and demographic change that the Turkish occupation and its affiliated radical factions do, and we call on the United Nations to put pressure on the Turkish occupation and its radical factions to get out of our lands."

At the end of his speech, he affirmed: "As Turkish threats to many Syrian regions ;Tel Tamr and the villages of al-Khabur continue, we announce that we will be the human supporter of the Syriac Military Council in its defense of the region, and we will not accept the continuation of violations and occupation."

The march ended with chanting the slogans that salute the military forces' resistance, and call for resistance.
