​​​​​​​Crisis Cell imposes total curfew on Dêrik to confront outbreak of Corona

The Crisis Cell issued a statement in this regard, saying:

"Based on the requirements of the public interest and the existing data regarding the outbreak of the Corona virus, the escalation of infections that threaten the world, the increase in infections in our regions, including Dêrik in particular, and in the interest of the safety of our people, the Crisis Cell in al-Jazeerah region decides the following:

The decision has been made to impose a complete curfew on Dêrik and its towns for a period of 14 days, starting from 06-11-2020 at 06:00 am until 19-11-2020.

All schools, institutions, places of worship, markets, industry stores, stadiums, restaurants and private clinics are closed.

Vegetable stores and foodstuffs  located within the popular neighborhoods are excluded from the curfew from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Public and private hospitals receive only emergency cases, while pharmacies remain open according to the shift schedule.

Entry and exit to and from Dêrik city and its countryside is prohibited, except in emergency cases with the exception of foodstuff cars, vegetables, fuel, medical cars and bread certified cars.

A curfew is imposed within the city under penalty of accountability.

The work of institutions is limited to service institutions / hygiene - water - electricity - health - “municipal” emergency committees / with a reduction in the cadres working in them as needed.

We call on all citizens to adhere to all preventive decisions and measures regarding wearing masks, and adhere to the rules of social distancing in order to preserve public safety.
