After yesterday's massacre, Al-Kazimi arrives at Salah al-Din Governorate

On Sunday morning, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazimi arrived to Salah al-Din Governorate accompanied by a number of military and security leaders to be informed on developments of the massacre that took place yesterday.

Today, Al-Kazimi's office announced that the latter had arrived to Salah al-Din.

The office, in a statement said that '' Prime Minister and Commander- in - Chief of the Armed Forces Mustafa al-Kazimi arrived to Salah al-Din Governorate accompanied by ministers of Interior and Defense and head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the PMF, and security leaders.

Yesterday, 12 civilians were kidnapped including children in Salah al-Din Governorate in north of the country, 8 of them were found shot dead, while the fate of the remaining ones is unknown.

On Saturday, Al-Kazimi gave orders to refer security forces responsible for the area that witnessed the massacre to investigation due to their dereliction to protect civilians.

Earlier, on Saturday, the non-governmental ''the Iraqi Centre for Documenting War Crimes'' accused members of '' Asa'eb Ahel al-Haq'', one of PMF's factions, of killing 12 civilians in Balad district of Salah al-Din.
