19 persons who benefited from general amnesty in Kobane released

The release of prisoners in Kobane who numbered 19 was based on the decision issued by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria last Saturday of a general amnesty for all crimes committed before 10/10/2020.

The Senate, the Syrian Democratic Council, and the Justice and Reform Affairs Council in the Euphrates region attended the release ceremony.

After the detainees have been released, the Administrator in the Relations Committee in the Euphrates region, Marwa Derei, delivered the statement issued by the Autonomous Administration on 10/10/2020 to the public opinion, explaining the reason for the release of these prisoners.

It is noteworthy that, in the same context, on Thursday afternoon, 100 detainees were released from Qamishlo city prison, while 631 detainees are supposed to be released according to what the Syrian Democratic Council declared in its statement.
