SOHR: 119 Syrian mercenaries killed in Karabakh since fighting started

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least 119 Turkish mercenaries were killed in the Karabakh battles and indicated that among them were 78 dead whose body was brought to Syria, while the rest of the bodies are still in Azerbaijan.

The observatory confirmed that the Turkish endeavor to recruit mercenaries and send them to Azerbaijan is continuing in full swing, and explained that the Turkish intelligence seeks to play on the material side and exploit the loyalty of these people to Turkey, but that its attempts are very difficult to attract and send them to Azerbaijan, unlike what was the case in Libya, as many refuse to go to Azerbaijan.

According to the observatory, the number of Syrian mercenaries who have been transferred to Karabakh until the moment is not less than 1,450 after the transfer of a batch of 250 fighters during the past week.

Since 27 September, Artsakh / Karabakh has witnessed intense clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan, during which Turkey transferred hundreds of its mercenaries to fight to the Azerbaijani side, while the two parties announced a ceasefire on October 10, amid Turkey's efforts to end the agreement.
