SDC conveys message of Ilham Ahmed to popular activists in Al-Shaddadi

A delegation from the Syrian Democratic Council conveyed the message of Ilham Ahmed to the activists and notables of al-Shaddadi tribes, about the release of the residents of Al-Hol camp.

Today, a delegation from the Syrian Democratic Council met at the headquarters of the Democratic Union Party in Shaddadi district, with a group of popular activists and tribal elders.

The meeting was held to discuss the political situation and the problems related to the people's demands from the service side, and the release of detainees whose hands were not stained with blood.

A member of the Organization Office of the Syrian Democratic Council in Al-Hasakah, Aziz Suleiman, noted that this meeting is one of the meetings that the Syrian Democratic Council held in Al-Shaddadi district, where they discussed the political status quo in the region, listening to the pain and concerns of the people and what they were suffering from in the previous periods like injustice and terrorism at the hands of ISIS and Al-Nusra.

Al-Sulaiman explained that the popular activists of the notables and families who attended the meeting discussed the situation in the region in terms of service, and one of their most important demands was the release of prisoners held by the SDF who did not have blood on their hands.

Al-Suleiman added, "The people and activists called for improving services and living conditions in the region, as it sacrificed hundreds of martyrs in order to liberate society from the terrorist abomination of ISIS in Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, Manbij and others, and considered the region to be somewhat marginalized by the administration."

Al-Suleiman pointed out, "The people's demands for the release of prisoners, which we promised them through the words of the General Chairman of the Executive Council of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed. She promised to release them and issue a general amnesty, and to evacuate Al-Hol camp of those who hold Syrian nationality, and return to their normal lives in their cities and homes."

In turn, the sheikh of the al-Melhem clan in al-Shaddadi, Hamza al-Koud, thanked and expressed his gratitude to all members of the Syrian Democratic Council for listening to their demands and taking them into consideration.

Al-Kaoud stressed that the peoples of the region stand hand in hand with the military forces and executive councils in the Autonomous Administration to preserve the gains of the revolution and the reconstruction of the homeland.
