The agency said, "By following up the terrorist ISIS elements and retribution from them, the detachments of the intelligence agency represented by the Baghdad Intelligence Directorate at the Ministry of Interior arrested a terrorist ISIS leader who works in the so-called intelligence service official in the state of Fallujah in ISIS, whose name is Abu Salem al-Mawla and his brother, who works as an assistant in a joint intelligence operation between the Baghdad Intelligence Directorate and the Federal Police Intelligence."

According to Alsumaria network, "The arrest came after they were followed up from Fallujah district to Baghdad governorate, specifically the Dora area."

During the initial interrogations with them, they admitted their affiliation with ISIS and their involvement in several operations against the security forces and citizens.

Despite the passage of nearly 3 years since Iraq declared the end of ISIS, security operations continue to pursue ISIS mercenaries, who from time to time launch attacks in the country.
