The Kurdish people and their friends took to the streets and squares in many cities of Turkey, northern Kurdistan and Europe cities such as Cologne, Stuttgart, Nürnburg, Essen, Frankfurt, Mannheim, and German Hagen. As well as in Paris and Strasbourg, and in the Austrian capital Vienna. Also, the Kurdish community in the Netherlands staged a sit-in in the Dutch Parliament to convey the voice of Kobane's resistance.

In southern Kurdistan, the people carried out a series of activities, which included Kirkuk and Qaladizah, where mass activities were organized. People of Sulaymaniyah also shouted, "Long live Kobane" in the squares. In eastern Kurdistan cities such as Guanru, Sinah, Mahabad, Kermanshah, Urmia, Lorestan, Buchan, as well as in the Iranian capital Tehran, hunger strikes began for several days.

The Turkish state sought to turn the events into an internal war

Despite the expansion of the activities in various parts of the world, the Turkish state worked with malicious and dirty methods to undermine the uprising to create an internal civil war, and began to pave the way through the media in a way that brought to mind the events of March 2006, when Erdogan declared, "We will do what is necessary, whether it is a woman or a child." Erdogan's statements were tantamount to directing orders to kill and abuse the people. This prompted the Contras to move and use weapons during the events. The police forces committed a massacre against civilians between 6 and 12 October events, which spread to the cities of Amed, Mardin, Sirte, Gulk, Diluk, Van, Mush, Batman, Istanbul, and Adana.

After the activities of 6-7-8 of October, a curfew was imposed in Amed, and it included the districts of Chinar, Kil, Arghany, Tigris, Hani, Hazro, Karaz and Qalb. Schools have been suspended in the city center, in addition to suspending flights, and in Golemireg, and work in universities has been suspended.

According to the figures announced by the police, 2,389 activities and events were recorded in 36 cities, resulting in the loss of 48 civilians and 2 policemen. 438 civilians and 331 policemen were injured, and 4,291 people were arrested.

However, reports issued by many human rights institutions and organizations revealed that the police numbers are incorrect, and that the authorities are misleading the facts.

Exploitation of the Huda Party

During the uprising, the Turkish state exploited the Al-Huda Party, where the party members were launched into the squares to achieve some gains by exploiting the protests, as it concluded an agreement in this regard with the government.

Al-Huda Party was founded in 2013, and is mostly active in Kurdish cities, as a party claiming Islam. But the truth represents the hidden face of Hezbollah. The state used to kill the Kurdish people during the 1990s. After exposing the party’s relations, it was dissolved and the Huda Party was established in its place.

Imrali's message on the uprising of 6-7-8 October

On the 9th of October, a brief message arrived from Imrali Prison by Saladin Demirtas and Vigan Yuksek, to the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister at that time Yalçın Akdogan.

leader Ocalan's message:

"The people of Kobane have established their own administrative system by their own efforts. The state has not tolerated this. Our people will resist and continue the resistance until the end wherever the ISIS IS. We will not make any concessions to ISIS." ISIS is an artificial organization, and it will respond firmly to every attack against the Kurdish people, anywhere.

A great resistance must escalate against ISIS. No one has the right to work to eliminate a people. Kurds have to revolt against this policy. If they do not do that today, tomorrow it will be late. Look at them what they do, make some of us food for breakfast, others for lunch and others for dinner. This situation cannot be accepted. No one has the right to leave Kobane alone. Everywhere a great resistance must be fought against ISIS.

On the other hand, I think that "JÎTEM"  is intervening to end the peace process. If military intelligence is not neutralized, the peace phase will not continue. The force that will neutralize JÎTEM must fight by democratic means. We are ready for everything for the sake of the peace process, but we want it to be a correct and real march. We do not want stalling and procrastination tactics. "

On the 7 of October, Hassan Boksor was killed in Kamkam sub-district in Mush governorate by the police forces, and during the period that extended to 20 October, 52 people were killed in the protests by means of weapons and gas bombs.

52 people were killed, but a case was opened against the Al-Huda Party

During the days of the October protests, no cases and trials were opened except against Al-Huda party members who committed murders to cover up the protests, and promoted misleading propaganda against the Kurdish people.

The police forces, the Contra Party and the fascist groups killed 52 people during the October uprising. Subsequently, 1213 people were arrested, including 199 children, 183 of them were sentenced to prison, including 20 children.

The AKP and the NP rejected the investigation petition

In order to investigate the case of Kobane's support protests, the HDP prepared three proposals for the investigation and presented them to Parliament, but the coalition of the Justice and Development Parties and the Nationalist Party AKP-MHP rejected these petitions.

The petitions included a request to answer the following questions:

Has the authorities investigated the events of 6-7-8 October?

If investigations were carried out, were any governor, qaymaqam or police directors removed from their duties?

Will a committee affiliated with the council be established with a mission to conduct an extensive investigation into the events of 6-7-8 October?

Has any investigation been carried out on the army and police who caused the killing of civilians during the events of 6-7-8 October?

How many members of the HDP and the Democratic Regions Party lost their lives during the events of 6-7-8 October?

During the events of 6-7-8 October 2014, the Republican Attorney General in Ankara issued an arrest warrant for 82 persons. During that period, 20 members of the HDP were arrested and have not yet been released. The two Co-chairs of the HDP, Salah al-Din Demirtas and Vigan Yuskdag, were also arrested in the context of the same file.

The Minister of the Interior was silent

In the same period, the Minister of the Interior of that period, Afkan Alla, stated that Fathallah Gulan organization had a decisive role in turning the streets into battlefields during the protests in support of the Kobane resistance. "We have confirmed that some people have been assigned from within the organization with the aim of embarrassing the government, so these elements did not interfere in the matter on purpose," Alla said in a closed meeting to the media. Alla’s comments were published in the media during this period.

Subsequently, his false statements were confirmed, and the political genocide campaign against the HDP continued.

The Co-chair of the municipality of Kars Ayhan Belkin was arrested on the pretext of participating in activities in support of Kobane, and he was previously imprisoned for 8 months, on charges of calling to participate in those events. He was charged with a case related to one of his party's meetings, even though he did not participate in that meeting.

In an effort to counter the attacks and assaults of the AKP AND NP against the HDP, many protests were organized in the cities of Gars, Istanbul, Amad, Samsur, Adana, Mersin, Jazarah, Mardin, Ankara and in many Turkish cities and the cities of north Kurdistan.

Many messages of support for the HDP were sent from many European countries and countries around the world, and confirmed their readiness to stand by the HDP against the coalition of the AKP and NP.

The reactions showed that the ruling Justice and Development Party and the Nationalist Party, and the reason for the new conditions in Turkey, are very afraid of the campaigns organized by the HDP. Accordingly, it is expected that the road in front of the people will be blocked, and no other movement will be allowed.

There is no doubt that the political extermination campaigns targeting the HDP are not the first, and they will not be the last. The HDP has taken a correct stance on these attacks. During that period, Saladin Demirtas in Parliament expressed the party’s position clearly when he said: “What do you threaten us with? Is there anything worse than death?

Today, the HDP continues its great resistance against these attacks.
