US Central Command deploys

The US Central Command announced in a statement that, in the context of ensuring the security of its forces and ensuring their ability to continue their mission in defeating ISIS, it has deployed radars and vehicles in northeastern Syria.

"Central Command has directed a number of measures in northeastern Syria to help ensure the safety and security of the coalition forces," said US Central Command spokesperson Bill Urban, in a statement regarding the recent actions they have taken in northeastern Syria.

The statement added, "The United States has deployed the Sentinel radar system, and has also increased the frequency of American fighter patrols alongside American forces."

And the statement added, "Bradley fighting vehicles have been deployed to reinforce American forces in the Security Zone in Eastern Syria (ESSA), and these actions are clear evidence of the United States' determination to defend the coalition forces in ESSA, and to ensure their ability to continue their mission in defeating ISIS."

"The Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve is repositioning the elements in northeastern Syria to ensure the protection of our forces and the continuation of the mission of defeating ISIS," the statement said.

The statement concluded that "the Ministry of Defense had previously deployed Bradley vehicles in northeastern Syria in accordance with these objectives, as the United States does not seek a conflict with any other country in Syria, but it will defend the coalition forces if necessary."
