The isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan continues in Imrali prison, amid the silence of international organizations concerned with human rights affairs and the European Committee Against Torture, about what the Turkish authorities are doing.

In this regard, the co-chair of Civil Society Institutions, Rashid Rasho, spoke, and said: The Turkish state is trying to restrict freedom by practicing isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Rasho stressed the need to lift the isolation of the leader Ocalan, and says, "Stop this isolation, they must lift the isolation, and the leader's freedom is achieved, because the freedom of the leader is the freedom of humanity."

Silence kills humanity

Rashid Rasho called on international organizations, especially CPT, to implement its humanitarian duty towards the detainees who are being tortured by the Turkish state, and to end the isolation of leader Ocalan.

The Council of Europe's CPT announced in its 2019 report that it had met all political detainees in Imrali prison, and said that there has been no "improvement" in the prison system since its visit in 2016.

Ahmed Baabou, a member of civil society institutions, denounced the imposed isolation imposed by the Turkish state against the leader Ocalan in Imrali prison.

Isolation aims at extermination

Baabou said that the goal of the Turkish state in this isolation is the extermination of the peoples in the Middle East, especially the Kurdish people, and Baabou appealed to all Kurdish peoples and people, especially to go out to the squares and denounce the isolation that the Turkish state is carrying out against the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Rise up for the leader

Baabou noted that this isolation is not only on the leader Ocalan, but is reflected in all the peoples of the world, everyone should rise up against Turkey until the isolation is lifted and freedom is achieved, and he said: "The leader freed 40 million people from genocide and injustice."
