Abdel Rahman Domer: Kurdistan Region people should pressure their government to return to Kurdish Home

The Member of Kobane University Administration, Abdel Rahman Domer said: "The recent visit of the president of the Kurdistan Region to Turkey is not satisfactory for the Kurdish people, as it was possible to do many things that serve the Kurdish cause."

At a time when the Kurdish political arena is witnessing efforts to resolve the differences that have struck rifts among the Kurdish people as a result of policies that serve foreign agendas set by parties that do not want this people to gain their freedom, the president of the Kurdistan Region went out a few days ago on a visit to Turkey, which openly shows its clear and explicit hostility to the Kurds.

Abdel Rahman Domer, the Administrator at Kobane University says: "The visit is not a source of satisfaction for the Kurdish people, especially at this sensitive time for the president of the Kurdistan Region to go to a state that is attacking the Kurdish people day and night in Heftanin and in northern and eastern Syria. People cannot accept such concessions."

The visit is the opposite of what the Kurdish street wishes

Abdel Rahman Domer added: "If the truth of this visit was to denounce the daily bombing that targets the Kurdish people by the Turkish occupation aircrafts, it would have another place in the hearts of the Kurds, but we must tell the truth about the visit in its reality, contrary to what the Kurdish street wishes."

Domer said: "There are politicians and intellectuals who are not Kurdish say that at a time when Nechirvan Barzani was eating lunch with Erdogan and Çavuşoglu, Turkish aircrafts were bombing the Kurdish people, this is in fact a disgrace."

He continued: "At this time, this visit is not welcomed for the Kurdish people. We wished that he had done something else serving the Kurdish people, then we would look at him with respect and appreciation."

An impact on the efforts of the Kurdish unit

He confirmed: "The visit and the speech issued by Çavuşoglu at a time when the Kurdish parties are reconciling are of great influence in the endeavors of Kurdish unity, and they do not serve the Kurdish cause in anything."

He continued: "Instead of seeking solutions to accelerate the achievement of Kurdish national unity, the visit aims to raise the pace of the attack on the Kurdish people with joint coordination between Turkey and Kurdistan Region, and this alienates the Kurdish parties and places them in an arena of more and more distaste."

In response to the question: Why does not the President Nechirvan Barzani go to visit Heftanin after the bombing and the destruction and devastation caused, Domar said: "We wished that the decision would be his decision and that he would be able to go to visit Heftanin and approach the resistance closely. In this way, he would have served the Kurdish cause more."

Abdel Rahman Domer appealed to the people of southern Kurdistan to pressure the government in the Region to return to the Kurdish Home, and to act away from narrow partisan interests because these actions do not serve the Kurdish cause and are in the service of the enemy's agendas."
