Al-Mahasn clan's notable: Current stage is sensitive, we must beware of it

Recently, groups of cells working for Turkey and its mercenaries, the Syrian government forces and the terrorist ISIS have stirred up strife between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the existing clans through the assassinations they carried out against the clans' sheikhs and leaders in Deir ez-Zor region.

 As the notable and the official spokesperson of al-Mahasn clan, Suleiman al-Darwish, said: "Turkey and its cells lost their battle with SDF represented by the people and components of the region. Since the terrorist ISIS mercenaries were defeated in al-Baghoz, they recruited cells again to strike the tribal chord to incite discord and destabilize the security and stability of the region. Likewise, the cells of the Syrian regime began to operate in all regions of northern and eastern Syria with the aim of inciting against SDF and creating strife among all components of the region.

Al-Darwish added: "These regimes did not like the stability and security of the region, so they tried to restore the conflict through their own war that targeted the youth in the first place; however, the awareness of the people and youth stood in the way of all the plans that were hatched."

Al-Darwish also warned the people of Deir ez-Zor not to be dragged behind what is being hatched by internal and external hands to strike the stability of our regions and sow discord among the components, relying on the sheikhs and notables in the region.

He pointed out: "We and SDF are partners in blood, as the largest percentage of their fighters are from the tribes who sacrificed the precious and cheap to achieve victory over terrorism through thousands of martyrs."

It is worth mentioning that Suleiman al-Darwish was subjected to an assassination attempt in his home six months ago at the hands of cells that attacked him, and while trying to defend himself, he was subjected to several bullets and lost one of his 20-year-old children during that attack.
