Aleppo people: Heftanin represents resistance of people eager for freedom

A number of residents of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood condemned the Turkish attacks on Heftanin area in Başûr Kurdistan, and called for close ranks and escalation of the struggle to expel the occupier and break its wishes.

Within the reactions rejecting the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Başûr Kurdistan, especially Heftanin area, a number of people of al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo made clear their attitudes towards that.

The young Adnan Rashid said: "Regarding the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Heftanin area, just as its failure to reach Qandil repeated, Heftanin will also be a dream for them."

Adnan was also astonished during his speech at the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the National Council regarding the massacres and occupations that Başûr Kurdistan and the rest of Kurdistan are subjected to without uttering a word, and here the danger of the occupation lies, which extends its control over the region.

Adnan added: "The history of the Turkish state is full of massacres and land usurpation, and we find that these Turkish moves are based on the foundations of restoring the dream of Ottoman glories."

The citizen Aref Othman said: "We rose up in Aleppo as a people rejecting the attacks on the lands of Başûr Kurdistan, and in support of the Guerrilla resistance in Heftanin."

Othman noted that the Turkish state represents capitalism and is working to fuel wars to thwart the project of the democratic nation and the fraternity of peoples in the region, and also touched upon the importance of joining ranks in all parts of Kurdistan, and said: "We will face the heavily armed Turkish army without fear."

As for the citizen Mohamed Rashid Habash, he said: "We are in solidarity with the resistance of Heftanin and condemn the Turkish attacks on the region, and the violations committed by the Turkish occupation state against the people there are unacceptable."

Habash ended his speech by calling on all the Kurdish parties, movements and sides concerned to unify the ranks, repel those attacks, thwart them, and drive back the occupier.
