Sherawa condemns Turkish attacks on Kurdistan

Dozens of members of the Sherawa Sub-District Council and the people of the sub-district gathered on the hill of Kharbaka - Khirbat al-Hayat, in support of the resistance of Haftanin against the Turkish aggression, and denouncing the policy of the PDK in support of the occupation in its aggression against southern and northern Kurdistan, in a statement.

The audience stood for a minute of silence to pay homage to the souls of the martyrs, and then the statement was read in Kurdish and Arabic by the administrators of the Sherawa District Council, Abdo Barakat and Zilan Ibrahim.

And the text of the statement read:

We, the old friends of this region, condemn the attack on all areas in Kurdistan, especially the attack on Medya, Haftanin, Qandil, Afrin Center, Girê Spi, Serêkaniyê.

PDK clearly helps in attacking us, especially, the leader of the Kurdish people, Apo and the Society and Women's Movement. The PDK Has betrayed the Kurds and Kurdistan. It will not be able to break the Freedom Movement. The Movement protects the history, the morals and values of Kurdish society, Kurdistan and the peoples of the region. For these reasons the Turkish state is trying to erase the history of the character of the guerrillas, and we are ancient owners of this country pledge to stand by the resistance of Haftanin people. We are the owners of the leader Apo's project.

We know, in the spirit of cooperation and the uprising, we can unite our hearts, and support the uprising in southern Kurdistan and send our greeting to them. We as the people of Afrin, northern and eastern Syria are with you until the end. We give you support and assistance for the uprising in southern Kurdistan, at the same time we, with the thought and philosophy of leader Apo, we will defeat our enemies with all emphasis".

Then the statement ended by chanting slogans saluting the resistance of Haftanin, and denouncing the Turkish attacks on the lands of Kurdistan.
