Makso: Turkey's attacks on Başur Kurdistan aim to eradicate Kurdish presence

Abboud Makso said that the Turkish attacks in Başur Kurdistan do not target one party only, but the Kurds in general, noting that the Kurds cooperating with the Turks will pay a heavy price, stressing the need to unify the Kurdish ranks in the face of the occupation.

The co-chair of the Union of Intellectuals in Al-Jazeera region, Abboud Makso, explained that the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation state on the legitimate defense zones and Şengal, in particular, on Haftanin, are not against one party only, but against the Kurdish presence in general.

Maksoo pointed out: "The Turkish occupation state is weakening and breaking down day after day at the global level, so it is trying, through the attacks on Başur Kurdistan, to show to the Turkish people and the world that Turkey has managed to strike and undermining the Kurds' will"

Indicating that the Turkish occupation state cannot undermine the determination of the fighters in the mountains of Kurdistan to launch its attacks from time to time: "With this mentality, Turkey is mocking itself. When the number of fighters in Kurdistan did not exceed four fighters, Turkey could not undermine their determination, so how is their number now exceeding thousands!"

And he continued: "The mentality that Turkey is adopting is not only against Haftanin, but rather for the sake of ending the four parts of Kurdistan, Başur, Bakur, Rojava, Rojhalat."

Makso believed that it would be more correct for the Turkish occupation state to get rid of its bloody mentality, since the solution lies in dialogue, which is achieved through peace, democracy and brotherhood of peoples, considering that the blood that Turkey causes is against humanity.

Makso also stressed the need to unify the Kurdish ranks, saying: "If the Kurds were one side, the Turkish occupation state would not be able to launch any attack on Haftanin."

Kurds cooperating with the Turks will pay a heavy price

Makso mentioned that after the outbreak of the Mustafa Mulla Barzan revolution there was a clan called Jahshik (and they are the Kurds who help the enemy in striking the Kurdish liberation movements against their own people), and they were working as agents with Saddam Hussein's government. Some of the parties known as Qurjeya are working as sources and agents for the Turks, and they will pay a dear price if they do not correct their course.

In the conclusion of his speech, on behalf of the Union of Intellectuals, Makso appealed to all the Kurds and political parties to stand together in the face of the Turkish occupation plans, stressing that protecting the Kurdish presence is a duty for all Kurds, and in particular for political parties.
