​​​​​​​SDC reveals to Hawar program of its visit to Russia

Sihanouk Dibo said that the delegation of the Syrian Democratic Council arrived in Moscow on August 27 at the official invitation of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The delegation includes the Head of the Executive Authority of SDC, Elham Ahmed and her deputy Hikmat Al-Habib, the Head of the Syriac Union, Sanharib Barsoum, and the representative of the SDF in Egypt, Sihanouk Dibo.

In a statement to Hawar, Dibo said that a memorandum of understanding will be signed next Monday between the party and the Popular Will Party during a press conference, and a meeting will be held with the Russian Foreign Ministry on the same day.

According to Dibo, the text of the memorandum, which will be published later, is suitable as a road map or a text of basic principles for a new Syrian social contract that cuts the way to any attempt to undermine Syria, if it is to occupy and divide it or reproduce any central authoritarian regime.

He added, "We can say that the memorandum that will be signed is considered the best thing that has happened to the moment; it has the Syrian national interest on the various Syrian geography for all components of the Syrian people and more so for the democratic national opposition, and it can be said that it is a real inflection point."
