War Wounded: What happened to Ocalan is catastrophe, stigma on humankind

The Turkish authorities continue to impose tight isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison, and prevent his family and his lawyers from visiting him, in practices that do not relate to international laws and human rights."

  In this context, the War Wounded Foundation in Afrin region issued today a statement to the public opinion, calling on international organizations to take action.

The statement was read during the gathering of dozens of the Foundation's members in the square of Berxudan camp in Fafin district in al-Shahba in Arabic and Kurdish by Mohamed Alo and Shervan Mohamed. The statement included:

"In the name of the War Wounded Foundation: "You cannot hide our sun after 21 years have passed since the heinous crime against humanity which was committed by the fascist forces with the help of global imperialism and with international silence, as they conspired against the messenger of humanity with the aim of breaking his free will and undermining his achievements that saved the oppressed peoples, especially the Kurdish people from the yoke of slavery to the spring of freedom, as our people had tasted freedom by the philosophy of the leader Ocalan, thus he posed a danger to the reactionary forces and has threatened their hegemony and tyranny over these peoples."

 What happened to the leader Ocalan is a catastrophe and a stigma on humanity. As long as we live, it is shame that the world is controlled by some chauvinistic bodies such as the Turkish regime, especially as we live in the ugliest stage that humanity witnessed under the name of capitalist modernity and global imperialism, whereas the goal of these regimes is to dominate the land, suck the people's livelihood, humiliate them by various means and deprive them of living with dignity as much as possible, but we can only say that in the end, truth triumphs, the sunlight does not hide, the light of truth is not extinguished, and Justice must be done.

We at the Wounded Foundation do not despair or tire of appealing to living consciences, independent and global humanitarian regimes, security councils and international courts, and we renew our demands for the International Court and the Human Rights Organization to consider the leader's situation in prison, so that he can exercise his most basic rights in his cell.

 We in the revolutionary movement appeal to all international left movements that claim to resist imperialism to do everything they can to pressure the Turkish state and its fascist regime, and to assist the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in its war against that colonial fascist regime.

 In conclusion, we pledge to our leader and our great people and renew our pledge to the martyrs of the Kurdistan Freedom Revolution that we will fight until the last drop of blood in our veins to bring our people to freedom, adhering to the education of the leader Ocalan in our struggle and revolutionary work."
