Crisis Cell to lift total curfew on al-Jazeera region, starting tomorrow

The Crisis Cell in al-Jazeera region decided to lift the total curfew on the region as of tomorrow, and the Cell emphasized the need for citizens to adhere to the preventive measures.

The Crisis Cell in al-Jazeera region held a meeting yesterday which was attended by the Cell's members, and during the meeting, the decision was taken to lift the total curfew on al-Jazeera region, starting tomorrow, Friday, and the Autonomous Administration institutions to return to work starting next Saturday.

The text of the decision issued by the Crisis Cell in al-Jazeera region included:

"Based on the outcomes of the meeting of the Crisis Cell in al-Jazeera region held on 26-08-2020 in order to preserve the public interest:

 The total curfew on the regions of al-Jazeera region is left starting from 28-08-2020.

 Gatherings of all kinds (funeral tents - weddings - prayers in places of worship - parties, etc) are prohibited.

 The official working hours in all Autonomous Administration institutions starts as of Saturday 29-08-2020 with full adherence to health rules.

 All citizens must fully adhere to Resolution No. 93 issued by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria on 08-16-2020 by wearing masks under penalty.

 We also call upon all our people to fully adhere to the preventive measures, social distancing, and to abide by the decisions issued by the concerned authorities."
