​​​​​​​Hamo: Haftanin resistance to culminate in national unity

25 political parties and movements in Rojava announced a political umbrella with the aim of uniting the Kurdish ranks, called "Kurdish National Unity Parties." 7 of them were elected as a committee that will participate in discussions with the Kurdish forces, with the aim of unifying the Kurdish ranks in the northeast of Syria.

On this subject, in addition to the attacks on parts of Kurdistan, with the aim of striking gains, Badran Hamo, a member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, stated that they are focusing on Kurdish unity, on which the hopes of many people depend.

Achieving unity

At the beginning of his speech, Hamo referred to their main focus that is to achieve Kurdish national unity, which has entered its second stage, and requires rapprochement between the Kurdish parties to move forward towards political development.

Hamo continued his speech by saying: "This is based on the hope of the Kurdish people, and it is the first motivation for us to move forward. We, as a democratic union party aspire to achieve the people's goals in national unity."

As for the difficulties that encounter unity, Hamo said: “Whenever we take serious steps to realize these hopes, we find that the enemies prevent the unification of efforts in demanding rights. Accordingly, they thwart the attempts to unify the efforts of the Kurdish people.”

He also noted that they find the talks between the Kurdish National Council and the National Unity Parties contribute to strengthening political and military positions that represent the Kurdish issue in general. 

 Haftanin will win

Regarding the issue of the attacks on the Haftanin area, Hamo said: “In this the recent period, the Turkish occupation state has increased its attacks on the territory of Kurdistan, especially in the area of Haftanin to strike unity talks by defaming the Kurdistan Workers' Party. This cannot be accepted. "

Hamo added: “The magic has turned against the magician, through the attacks on Haftanin, the goal of the Turkish occupation was to create a rift in the body of Kurdish national unity, but the peoples are aware that the Turkish state’s policies are for extermination. This is what strengthened solidarity among all parties. "

Erdogan and Don Quixote

Hamo also affirmed: “The resistance of Haftanin will be crowned with victory, unity will be achieved, and Erdogan will compete, whom he described as the Spanish ""Don Quixote, as he is interfering in the affairs of a number of regional and Arab countries, whether in Libya or Syria and Yemen, thinking that there is no one to deter him.”

The most prominent characteristic of Don Quixote's character is his wave of his sword in the air and reaching the point of obsessing himself that he is undefeated, but in fact he is a fool who thought himself in a sacred mission.

Hamo concluded his speech by stressing that unity is important for the Kurdish people, and its parties for that they will strive and work to achieve it.
