Al-Arab: Military reinforcements in Idlib portend an expected confrontation between Damascus and Ankara

The Arab newspapers, issued this morning, dealt with several issues concerning the Syrian issue, the most prominent of which was the situation in Idlib, and in this context Al-Arab newspaper said: "Syrian opposition sources revealed that the Syrian and Russian government forces began sending military reinforcements to the Idlib governorate in northern Syria in preparation for an anticipated military action ".

The sources confirmed that "the Syrian government forces have pushed during the past few days military reinforcements coming from the countryside of Damascus and Homs, in addition to the forces affiliated with the Fifth Corps supported by Russia and special Russian units, and arrived in Idlib Governorate."

Al-Arab explained that the Syrian government forces are preparing for a military action that may begin after the legislative elections scheduled for next Sunday, and these military build-ups may be a pressure card on Turkey, which is continuously sending military reinforcements through the Kafrlocin Gate in Idlib Governorate.

Simultaneously, Russian planes and regime artillery increased their bombing of Idlib countryside during the past two days.

Al-Bayan: A regulation to dismiss Ghannouchi from the presidency of Parliament

Regarding Tunisian affairs, Al-Bayan newspaper said: "Yesterday, the list of the no-confidence was withdrawn from Tunisian Parliament Speaker Rashid Ghannouchi to the parliament office.

The list holds 73 signatures by the representatives of the Democratic Bloc, the Bloc of Yahya Tunisia and the Reform Bloc, and a number of the deputies of the Future and National Blocs, as well as some independents.

The text of the list al-Bayan has seen included a number of justifications for the ouster of the leader of the Brotherhood Renaissance movement from the presidency of the parliament, among them “his interference in foreign policies, bypassing his powers and provisions of the constitution, and providing political positions on sensitive international and regional issues that are inconsistent with the official positions of the Tunisian state, to receive foreign ambassadors and guests, to issue statements without referring to the council’s office, and to employ the administration to serve foreign agendas. ”

The parliament office will have to present the list to a public session for discussion and vote. For their part, the sheikhs and notables of the Libyan tribes expressed their mandate to President al-Sisi and the Egyptian armed forces to intervene to protect Libyan sovereignty, and take all measures to secure the interests of the national security of Libya and Egypt, and to face common challenges, in order to cement the Libyan parliament’s call for Egypt to intervene to protect the Libyan people, and to preserve unity and safety of the territory of his country.
