People of Afrin: We reject the repeated occupation attacks, pledge more struggle

On June 23, the Turkish occupation forces bombed the city of Kobani, the village of Hallinj, killing three women, Zahra Barkal, Amina Waissi, and Hebun Mulla Khalil.

In this context, our correspondent monitored the opinions of the people of Afrin canton, who live in the Serdem camp of Tel Susin village in al-Shahba canton.

Citizen Nadima Alo said that the Turkish occupation’s attacks on Kobani indicate weakness as it keeps repeating its scenario of attacks on Afrin to break the will of women, but they will not succeed in undermining our will and strength and desire to organize the women's movement will increase.

Nadima Alo pledged that they would raise the pace and strength of their struggle and follow the path of female martyrs against the occupation.

For his part, the citizen Rashid Qablan said, "for three years, the brutal Turkish occupation has continued, using advanced weapons against the people, and after its occupation of Afrin, it continues to bomb Kobani. Does the world not see the brutality of the Turkish occupation?"

Citizen Rashid Kablan asked: Where are the human rights organizations? Where are our rights? Whenever a problem occurs in the world, they are busy solving it.

As for Citizen Laila Shomo, she said, "We saw the brutal Turkish occupation attacks in Afrin, and we refuse this to happen in Kobani. We women, no matter how the Turkish occupation tries to break our will, we will not weaken."
